Blue Tree offers a live temperature monitoring and tracking solution that operates over the GPRS network.
On the vehicle the R:COM Tracker module is connected to the datalogger of the Refrigeration Unit and delivers
the system delivers the following functionality;
- View current vehicle location and temperatures
- View Refrigeration Unit controller information including setpoint and return air for each compartment, controller temperature sensors, controller alarm codes, door status, hourmeters and fuel level. (Note: information available varies depending on the refrigeration unit make and model).
- Review the vehicles movements and temperatures for any period e.g. last 6 hours, last 24 hours, etc...
- Download the latest temperature data recorded on the vehicle temperature datalogger periodically (e.g. every four hours) or on demand
- Email temperatures of transportation in either graph or tabular format from R:COM Reports software directly to your customer
- Receive notifications of temperature out of range and unit shutdown alarm notification immediately via email or SMS
All temperature related data stored in the R:COM system and can be instantly used to generate various reports to monitor, analyze and evaluate all parameters of the refrigerated fleet performance including temperature conditions. Temperature related reports consist of text and graphs for clearer presentation with the possibility of emailing, printing and exporting these reports as required. The R:COM Reports software is the ultimate tool in temperature data management and reporting.
Refrigeration Unit Alarm Notification
R:COM continuously monitors the refrigerated fleet for Refrigeration Unit alarms. The alarms are coded by the manufacturer as Green,
Yellow and Red with code Red alarms being the most serious as they cause the refrigeration unit to shut down
and make cause product loss.
Alarm notifications appears on in the R:COM Reports software. Alarm notifications can also be sent via text message
or e-mail to designated recipients. Key personnel are immediately informed about the situation and can take corrective actions.
(Note: information available varies depending on the refrigeration unit make and model).
Acceptable temperature parameters can be set individually for each sensor or each compartment in the refrigerated vehicle. R:COM continuously monitors the temperature and an alert notification is triggered when the temperature falls above or below the allowed limits to warn the persons responsible of any irregularity in the temperature conditions.
Alert notifications appears on in the R:COM Reports software. Alert notifications can also be sent via text message or e-mail to designated recipients. Key personnel are immediately informed about the situation and can take corrective actions.
Further analysis of the temperature and refrigeration units operation data is possible using the industry standard and very powerful R:COM Temperature Reports software. The data can be analysed in graphic and table formats, exported to Excel, printed, emailed to customers or colleagues, etc..
R:COM supports all Thermo King dataloggers and the complete range of TranScan® dataloggers as well as Blue Tree's RTL independent datalogger.
The RTL is a low cost temperature datalogger that operates as a stand-alone datalogger with independent memory and independent real-time clock. The RTL can accommodate up to 4 independent temperature sensors, and can be retro-fitted to all vehicle models.
RTL datalogger
The RTL conforms to all relevant technical and safety standards, including: EN 12830, EN 50081-1, EN 50082-2 and HACCP.
