R:COM remotely downloads the drivers card and the mass memory of the digital tachograph. Alternatively the drivers card can be downloaded using a card reader in the office and automatically uploaded to the R:COM software for storage and analysis.

R:COM Infringement Reporting software is fully compliant with all EU driving and working time directives and is used by the UK police force in its enforcement of drivers hours.
R:COM reports the drive time remaining for each driver before a rest break is required. All tachograph status changes are reported in realtime to the office. The traffic planner can use this information to intervene where necessary to advise the driver on the correct operation of the tachograph to ensure the driver respects their driving and resting times.
