We also understand that requirements can and will change over the course of time to react to changes in your business and so the modular design of our hardware allows you to add components as your requirements change.

All our hardware is designed around our proprietary OTAP (Over-The-Air-Programming) technology. We understand that it's counterproductive to pull your fleet off the road every time your R:COM on board device (OBD) require an upgrade. We also understand that you will require additional information from your OBD five years from now - that's why we invented OTAP, our exclusive over-the-air-programming technology. OTAP allows us to reprogram your R:COM OBC while your trucks are on the move and without any human intervention. Drivers don't even know that their in-cab systems were updated until you need to tell them.

Our software reporting application, R:COM Reports allows you to track, monitor and access real-time and historic information about vehicles and drivers. You can identify trends, analyse costs and highlight any exceptions against key performance indicators to reduce fleet running costs and increase company productivity.

R:COM Reports software is offered in two application formats either Blue Tree hosted or customer hosted.

1. R:COM Reports Online - Blue Tree Hosted
   

   By subscribing to R:COM Reports Online secure web-based internet service, you can view and manage your information in a secure manner with a web browser, anywhere, anytime - all you need is access to a web browser. The data from your vehicles is transferred over the air to one of our International Data Centers which offer a fully managed service including:

   • Professional data and infrastructure management
   • Project Managed deployments
   • 24/7 Operations management

   Behind the scenes, R:COM Technology takes care of the data transfer, administration and management of you vehicle data.

2. R:COM Reports - Customer Hosted
   

   Alternatively, Blue Tree offer the option of a customer-hosted service whereby the data is transferred from the vehicle directly to the customer's own server. This format is applicable where the confidentiality of your own data is critical to your business or where integration with third party applications within you business network is required. R:COM Reports architecture is built around Microsoft SQL Server database technology allowing easy integration with third party or customer proprietary systems. Blue Tree provide a comprehensive integration support service to assist customers with integration projects.

RCOM Reports Online is a secure Internet-based fleet management reporting system that allows Fleet Managers to view their fleet data and access all of the R:COM Fleet Management System features with a web browser, anywhere, anytime.

The information is made available to you in a controlled manner over the Internet via intuitive easy to use web based software. Users are only provided with the fleet information and functionality that they are allowed to access, based on the organisation rules and subscription level. Exceptional information is delivered via email or printouts to specific users in a targeted manner.
